A question about laying porcelain tile? - backerboard necessary in bathroom
I'm laying tile 3 / 4-inch floor boards a few questions. the guy never mentioned Lowes addressed the following questions:
1) I unscrewed the plate on the floor, but some internet sources say that you need to attach the plate before this step. Should I, the base plate, glue and put down the floor tiles?
Say, 2) sources that the screws into the floor slab of cement in every 8 inches made. What does this mean in a formation of the network or only on floor joists every 8 inches?
3) Some sources say I need to tape the joints of the Board of fiber Backer seal. necessary?
